X6 Library Corrupt
I get the attached error message with my Library in X6.
I think it's one or more of the Bonus Libraries. Any suggestions?Joseph P. Carrick, Architect - AIA

Joe:
close Chief
use C:PROGRAMDATA for X5 to replace the X6 folder for BONUS
or others as needed
then in X6 use the Library "Update catalog" tool to bring the catalog(s)
current for X6
that should do it, if not, then contact tech support on Monday
save the corrupt libs to send to tech support anyways

Lew,
Where do I find the BONUS Library? All I see is the User Library. Can you post a pic of the Windows Explorer Location?Joseph P. Carrick, Architect - AIA

I was able to get to the folder(s) via X6's Program File Paths and delete 2 offending Library Files:
Bonus\BonusCSFI
ManufacturersLibraries\ClassicDesignsMichaelBurak
I'm not sure why those 2 Libraries were corrupt, but after I deleted them everything seems to be working normally.Joseph P. Carrick, Architect - AIA

Hi Joe - I had the same problem. Its a corrupt library file.
I relabelled the "bonus libraries" folder with no effect, then done the same with the "manufacturer libraries" which fixed the error message. I then renamed each library folder until I found the culprit - in my case it was the 'Viking' library. I just deleted it and reloaded it and all is well.Nick

It would be nice if Chief would indicate which library is corrupt ...

Lew, That Folder exists - as it should - on my system. However, I can't seem to get it to display in Windows Explorer.
Ahhh.. For some reason it was "Hidden".Joseph P. Carrick, Architect - AIA
