Hasp dongle not recognised in new X5 install
hi all,
we are trying to install a new copy of X5 using a dongle.
the installation stops saying that the driver is not matching the dongle & we cannot download a new driver from sentinel..
I notice that the driver has a X5/X6 sticker on it..perhaps this is causing the problem..
can anyone offer any help.
regards, brian

Contact support. Issues with dongle drivers is the main reason we no longer recommend them.

there can be issues with the software lock method also
no perfect system, what is best for one may not be best for another
I prefer the hardware lock
having to do the deactivate-activate dance is an issue for me
If we had a pre-paid meter for my laptop I could live with
a software lock for my desktop
