X6 Update? Is it getting close?

Is there a target date for the official X6 release? Things have been pretty quiet here for the past couple of weeks.

When dealing with CA updates I am often reminded of the movie 'The Agony and the Ecstasy' staring Charlton Heston as Michelangelo painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel...

I've been waiting for the official release. I don't want to bother with the beta. I'm a little concerned about some of the threads reporting lag in X6 but I have a fairly new and robust system. I think I'm missy excited about the improved license transfer. It's such a pain to do the deactivation/activation process. I switch between my desktop and laptop a lot.

I don't think you will have any problems with that system, but you can always have a symbol with too many faces, or lots of round or curved railings slow it down. I say go for it, you'll love it.

Victor, I have moved all of my projects to X6 beta and I don't have any regrets. Jump between a computer at home and my office sometimes and being able to go online and deactivate the remote license is worth the switch alone. The toolbars are stable as a rock and the custom backsplash feature is super cool.

Well, that's encouraging. Based on this I shall make the move this weekend.

I am using the Beta version and for the most part it is smooth. However, I have had numerous issues when exporting to DWG.
Has anyone had any issues with this? Please advise.

I tried beta years ago and it was a disaster on one of my projects. I lost so much work when I fully knew I was taking a chance. I now wait for the final product and that is not to say that there still aren't problems. The people at Chief seem to be really Conservative when it comes to final release and I like that. Just my 2 cents worth, with inflation probably nothing.

X6 Premier (Windows 64 bit) should be in your digital locker. I just downloaded mine. Anyone see any difference from the Beta version?
