Melbourne chief users

I am using chief architect x5 and have been since v10 but never ever come across any one that uses this software in Melbourne Australia. Are you out ther budding users?

I'm one of quite a few. I've been using Chief since V4.

Are you familiar with ArchiCAD? I am considering switching to Chief Architect - but am pensive due to the lack of local Australian support etc. Has thsi ever been a problem for you as a user of Chief. How does Envisioneer compare - do you know? Chief looks very straightforward and handles materials and costs much better than ArchiCAD. Go the Swans!!

Prior to starting with Chief V4, I used Generic Cadd. Since starting with Chief, I've never had a need to swap to anything else. I have tried the trial versions of Archicad, Envisioneer & Softplan some time back. After playing around with them for a while, I uninstalled them.

I have never had a problem with support. It's right here on this forum.

I am in Ballarat and there are 3 or 4 that I know of using it I also know 1 in Macedon and one i think gordon so i would have to guess there must a lot more in Melbourne area
