    Adding Text to library items

I've added two closet rods & shelves stacked on top of each other to create double rods & shelves. I want to add a text note that says, "Double Rods & Shelves" When I group select the 3 items, it will not let me add a group, so that I can add this to my library. I want to be able to adjust the font size/position so a label is out of the question. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks.

You may want to just add them to the library as an architectural block or symbol without text. Then add the text manually or from a separate cad block.

There are other options but they are cumbersome from what I can tell. HTH.

I think the best option would be a "Text Macro". It's just a really easy way to add specific text anyplace you want at anytime.

If you want, you can save such text objects in a CAD Detail Window (part of your default Plan) and just copy it whenever you need it. It's kind of like having a little library of standard notes instantly available within the Plan.

I would just change the label to show whatever you want

    Perry,

He said he wanted to be able to adjust the text size (at any time).
