Spot light angles

What is the difference between tilt angles and direction angles in the light data dialog box?

Have you tried the help file - it is covered there.

I can't see the position in camera view. In X5 I was able to direct a spot light and see an arrow in camera view to know it is pointing in the right direction, but can't see the arrow in X6... Is anyone else having this issue? Am I doing something wrong?
