X5 and X6 How to turn off tool tip
I upgraded from X1 so I'm not sure how long this feature has been around. When I select a tool, the icon for the tool appears next to my cursor, I guess to remind me of what tool is selected. I find it distracting and would like to turn it off, but I can't find out where to control this. I assume it is possible to not show the tool icon?
thanks

These behavior indicators are for things that many people tend to forget are on or off, such as edit object parts, and a few other things that result in frustration because the the selected state was forgotten.

Yes, I leave them on. It's too easy to forget to turn them off, and you'll be editing a single line, in a p-line when you really want to edit the whole p-line

thanks for the replies- yes, I can see instances where they would be helpful, but just didn't want them on all the time. Nice to have the option.
