Layout Referenced Files
As far as I can tell, the Layout Referenced Files dialog only comes up when a file is not found. Is there any way to get this dialog to appear on command, just to check what files the current layout is using? (Using X6)

The videos we watch are not 100% gold, but if we find a gold nugget, the time spent viewing has a value.

The reason I chose that is the first key stroke "\" tells me "layout" and then the second key, whatever it is does something relating to the layout. Maybe not easy to remember in the beginning, but do it 10 times, and it is then auto...... besides, the two key stroke method for LAYOUT, the second key is adjacent to the "/" ...........
.... thanks for changing, it saves us both a copyright infringement lawsuit.
Just goofing with you Joe, there is no right way to do this, just whatever works...... so funny, I now have a hard time using the drop down menus in lieu of the hot keys...... if I were to use anybody else's computer without the hotkeys, I would be lost.
There is a lesson for us all, remember when it was hard to find the correct menu, (Richard just went thru that looking for the TOOLS<LAYOUT<REFERENCED FILES), the point is, whether we use the menu or the hotkey, it takes maybe 10 times of usage before it becomes second nature.
So my advice is to adapt whatever is quicker for the user in the long run whether it be the drop down menu or the hotkeys.
I remember watching one of "The Moaksters" videos, and he was so quick using the drop down menus..... I have never been that quick, hence the hotkey usage I employ.D. Scott Hall (The Bridge Troll)
