How to model corner lift-n-slide door opening
Anybody have a good method for modeling an open-corner lift-n-slide door that looks right in 2D & 3D? Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thx, D

Something like this.
I cut the walls 12' from corner, turned them invisible. Added door symbols. Then added polyline solid for the upper wall, one at 1/2" for GWB. and one for the remaining exterior wall so that int/ext.
materials could be applied. Add a polyline sill as needed.William Page Architects A.I.A.

You can create your own symbol as I did or in a blank plan place a door with the style you want in a wall . Use the delete surfaces and remove the wall surfaces then the door frame, the frame will take a minute.
Rotate the view to find the many frame surfaces. When you have just the door click on "Tools" - "Symbol" convert to symbol and add to your user lib.William Page Architects A.I.A.
