    Graeme,

selected the user catalogue, had to select all to get export option. Exported to desk top 2 times
so far but nothing shows up. It appears to be saving it but nothing. Confused. (normal state)

OK, did not realized it selected even the main libraries. Deselected all but user catalogue. I now have a
temp file, o bytes with a name that has part of what I named it plus some numbers. Is there a size limit?

    Jacob,

For some reason my user did not come across. Maybe it was too big? I got some of it today when I limited the number of folders.

    J,

Found my user library and copied that. I have the other libraries.
THanks for the help! A lot quicker than what I was doing/planning.

I have the same trouble here. I was running the X6 beta and when I installed it did import my other catalogs. I had stopped using X6 for a while and I added some new catalogs into X5. I'm ready to move to X6 full time now, but the newly downloaded catalogs are not in X6. I'm not finding the catalogs and user files mentioned above in this thread. Can someone make adding the additional content easier for me to understand?

    Thank you.

    USER LIBRARY

under DOCUMENTS or MY DOCUMENTS find the Chief Architect Premier X6 Data folder
    delete the DATABASE LIBRARIES folder

replace the X5 DATABASE LIBRARIES folder

CORE - BONUS - MANUF LIBRARIES

under C: find the PROGRAMDATA folder (it may be hidden, if so change your folder options in windows)

replace the "Chief Architect Premier X6" folder with Chief Architect Premier X5 folder

then under X6 under LIBRARY menu run "update library catalogs" to ensure you have
    everything for X6

NOTE: if a lib catalog is missing in X5 it will still be missing in X6

I tried to ensure that my X5 was complete and up to date before doing this for X6

CA gives us no way to verify that we have everything

nor do they give us counts for verification

Big problem with something here Lew. After doing as instructed and launching X6 I get a "product Key not found in online database" Error.

Error on my part. After copying the files from X5 to X6, then trying to restart, I failed to notice that X6 was trying to open using X5's product key. That won't work all day long. After entering X6's product key, it opens without error.
