X6 Custom Back Splash Problem?

In my current plan/template the custom back splashes simply don't work. Tried every setting I could think of but the same result. Quick fix but the backsplash still gets generated behind the wall cabs. Hate to abandon my current profile template but I can't see another way.

Yeah did all that, maybe a dozen different ways - same result. Can you get the plan I posted to display correctly?

When I place it on my plan, it removes the Backsplash to base below setting in all my wall cabinets and applies the custom backsplash perfectly.
What view are you in when you do it? Also, how are you applying it? Just point and click?

The reason for the "concrete backsplash" below the wall cabinets is that you have the defaults set to that for wall cabinets. You should also take a good hard look at the default backsplash thicknesses (wall & base cabinets) I think the problem is that if the thicknesses are different than what the custom backsplash is defaulted to (1/2") then it doesn't work.

But I also have a problem making it work with your Plan.

Sorry Kirk, don't understand your post completely. When you place 'it' on your plan, what is the 'it' are you referring to? And when you say your plan, are you referring to a different plan than the one I posted? I can get it to work on a different template plan, but not the plan I posted. I would like to know what setting I need to change on the plan I posted to get it to vioew properly. And yes I am pointing and clicking. Is there another way? And I'm doing it from a wall elevation view.

This doesn't happen in a new plan.

Strange, but definitely something wrong with that particular plan.

How old is your template plan brought forward?

Pretty old Perry, and here's a new twist. If I draw 4 new walls above (toward top of page) the existing walls those 4 new wall with cabinets will behave properly. If Then move those 4 walls over the place where the (e) walls were the backsplash doesn't draw properly.

I'm seeing this same thing. Click on a wall without uppers and it works OK. Add an upper and it does not. Can't see anything that different about the uppers that might cause this. But it works fine if I draw 4 walls in a different place.

EDIT: I actually first noticed this behavior on a different plan so it seems I have a default setting or something that causes the BS to draw weird. I think I'll send in a bug report and see what comes of that.

OK, I just worked it out.
Definitely not the template plan.
Happens in every plan.

If the room is located below the y=zero point, the Custom Backsplash doesn't work properly.

As soon as the room is drawn or moved up above y=zero, they work as designed.

Place a Point Marker at y=0 and try different rooms or relocate a room above and below y=zero and you will see the problem when you use the Custom Backsplash tool.

Definitely a bug with the new Custom Backsplash tool.

I moved the other problem plan above the y=0 line and the BS displays properly as well.
