    X6, Selecting wall in elevation

Isn't there a dbx. that will select the wall first instead of the room in an elevation view? I thought it was somewhere in preferences, but I can't find it. Also, I thought the temp dimension shows on a wall in elevation so if you put a break in the wall and pull it down or up you could see how much you were moving it.

    Larry,

As far as I know, you only need Temp dimensions toggled on for this to work.

Bill.....Thanks, to be honest, I checked that page out and missed the dbx.---my bad.

Glenn.....I should have corrected myself. Instead of elevation view I meant in render or vector view. In those views you can select the wall, see the measurement of the wall height, break it, but it doesn't show the temp dimension of the movement of the wall as it moves in one direction or other. I was thinking that the temp dimension showed in these views as it does in elevation views. If it doesn't, then it should.
