allow external scripting

Does anyone know if Chief allows external scripting? I'm using a new time keeper that I like a lot, but in order to have it shine it needs it. Chief opens lots of windows during a session. Chrometa (the software) is good atcategorizing the time spent when it recognizes a name in the file, but not,say, when the window I'm working in says "Library Browser" or somesuch thing.
