Question Fake Gable Ridge beam(exterior detail)

I want to create an exterior ridge beam detail on my gable ends. As well as a beam detail at my plate lines. (like a rafter-beam roof) Is there a way I can just create a block and add the details where I see fit?

Edit: I uploaded a zip of my plan. Basically where i put the beams I would like a Exterior beam detail simular to the rafter tail detail :R14

I use a p-solid for those at the plate height. They would just attach to the studs in the wall and not go past that point. You can copy and paste those anywhere you want, once you make one. For the ridge, you can use a roof beam to go through the ridge.

    okay, thank you.

I have to model a beam detail. I call it a sharks mouth, its simular to the R14 rafter tail. Though there is an ANGLE sloping up to each notch. Im having a difficult time editing these objects. Does anyone know of a video that explains Object modeling?

    Thanks!

I would be more worried about the box gutters around the raised roof area than the shape of the beams.
