    Catherdal ceiling & light fixture

    Does anyone know how to put a light fixture flush with a cathedral ceiling ?

    If you placed the light fixture when you had a ceiling, then removed the ceiling, try placing it again without the ceiling.

    If what you mean is you want just the base flush, and not (obviously) the rest of the pendant, then you will need to custom model that. Chief will rotate, say, a flush can light flush to a cathedral ceiling, but that means the whole fixture.

    Oops, Bryce is right. Can lights and flush mount lights will follow a sloped ceiling.

    A work around would be to make you own fixture where it mounts to the ceiling and have it ceiling mounted & flush mounted so it follows the sloped ceiling. Next, place you fixture in a new plan. Take an overview and delete the part that mounts to the ceiling (using delete surface). Make a new symbol of that and then place both symbols in the plan and align them. This really goes very fast.
