Sun Angle Specification dvx.

I suppose this question is for Glenn. How do you open the Sun Angle Spec. dvx? Don't you have to go to plan to open it, and then you can do a sun shadow study by toggle the time of day and you can see how the time of day effects the shadows.

Having the plan open takes up screen space. Wouldn't it be great if the 3d overview takes up the entire screen and we can open the SAS dvx so we can do the sun study?

Sounds like a good idea to me. I really don't see any reason why the SAS Dialog shouldn't be available in a Perspective View.

It's auto spell, dbx changes to dvx, I gave up changing it every time. I think this auto spell is part of the mac. Sometimes useful, sometimes aggravating.

BTW, I think you can teach AutoSpell new words. IOW, you can teach it that dbx is valid.

Nice, I was hoping I was missing something, now if when I open the adjust lights dvx, it immediately goes to the SUNLIGHT. On this particular project, I have over 100 lights so it takes a bit of scrolling to find sun, not a big deal...... Thanks KT.

Put a sun angle arrow in your plan then it will open the sun dbx automatically

Correctomundo mi amigo, KT had the answer, works great with the exception of having to scroll thru all the lights to find the sun, not a deal breaker.

I'm not quite sure what you mean when you say it goes straight to SUNLIGHT - what is that.
With a light highlighted, hit the S key and the highlight will go down to the Sun Light.
