X5 raytrace stainless steel kitchen appliances. Texture and settings needed.

I have done searches and cannot land on any good threads for this topic.

Any help is appreciated. I have the usual problems. Appliances look black, or reflect too much, or get tiled because I don't know what to do, etc.

Thanks, Chad. I studied the thread's pertinent posts, used a brushed SS texture from a Chiefer (thanks, Jintu!) and got pretty good results.

How did you get this stainless look? Did you manipulate a material or how did you "get" it from someone else??

Go and read the thread referenced above. Find the .jpg texture file someone, I think it was Jintu, posted. It is titled "hairline." That is the texture image I used.
