Technical Illustration X5

I had a funny thing happen with the Technical Illustration in X5.

When I use cabinet doors/drawers out of the Manufacturers Catalog, they show up as white in 3D.

If I use a standard CA door/drawer, they show up the same grey color as the rest of the cabinet.

No biggie...just wondering what the world. I like to use the TI method a lot as it gives smoother lines and I can send prelims without people getting
wrapped up with colors...

I attached the plan, and some 3D shots just for reference.

Can't you get the effect you want by making both the cool and warm colors the same grey?
