    Walls out of plane vertically

    Evening all
I have had a request to provide an outside wall with a vertical angle of approx 5 degrees (sloping outwards at the top)
Does anyone have an idea how I can achieve this?
Can't find anything in the forums and have tried everything short of using a polyline solid.
I have a feeling that if I go down this route, I won't be able to insert windows and doors etc and also how would the roof react?
I build roofs manually anyway so, in general I understand the mechanics of roof building but I'm a bit concerned how chief will react.
    Any ideas? - please?
    Thank you

    Baz,

Do you mean something like this?
I have left a gap in the wall and I have left the roof off so that you can see what is happening.
I built the sloping bits over a standard brick veneer wall.

A bit of mucking around, but not too hard if everything is pretty simple.

No problem to build an auto roof.

This one is a little rough because I did it pretty quickly - but you can see the idea.

Thanks Glenn - nor quite what I was looking for. More the whole wall sloping outwards not just the cladding.
But anyway, how did you do that?

    Cheers

    Baz,

    OK, tell the whole storey.
    How thick is the wall.
    What is it made of.
    How tall.
Complicated floor plan or simple - it sounds like just 1 wall.
Complicated doors and windows or simple.
Can you post a plan of what you have already?

    Baz,

Do you mean more like this?

It's just a tad hard to open the door though!

Yep Glen, that's sort of what the client is looking for, but with sliding windows only and no doors.
Can't post a plan yet as it is all in the client's head at the moment and I haven't got down to the nitty gritty yet.
Still interested in how you do it though!!
    Cheers

    Baz,

The first one I played around with a molding polyline and filled in above and under the openings with matching lintels and sills (oversized at the correct slope).

The second one is just a symbol of the wall.
Draw the wall with openings, save as a symbol, place symbol and tilt.
I drew and invisible wall in line with the tilted wall symbol to form the room.

    Thanks for that Glenn
Simple when you think about it ain't it
Now I can have a go and see if I can come up to the client's expectations
