    Title Blocks

    Could someone please share with me how I can import a title block? I can not seem to find out where it goes when I use the Import DWG format. How do i grab it as my layout page?

    Open a Layout Plan.
    Set it to Page 0
    File->Import

    It's very likely that when you imported the title block dwg it was not at the right scale. It will be very small - probably about 1/48 as big as it should be. If you can find it probably at coordinates (0,0) then marque select and use Transform/Replicate to resize by a factor of 48.

    Most likely you imported the DWG into a Chief Plan that was set to a scale of 1/4"=1'-0". Chief Layouts should be set at a scale of 1"=1"

    Here's a pic of the settings for a Layout. You can open a blank plan, change the settings to match the pic and then import your Title Block to Floor 0. Then save that as a Layout (.layout) file.
