changing windows from CA stock object to imported library object
Hi,
I am using imported windows for the 1st time, and it seems that Chief X5 does not have a way to browse outside of Chief 'stock' windows (once placed in plan) to imported window libraries. The only way I can see to change 'stock' windows to windows from an imported library, is to delete the all 'stock' windows, then add the new ones and then dimensionally re-locate each one for the entire house.
Whew, I think I need a nap after all that--please tell me it's not true zzzz

You can use the "Replace from Library" tool (Looks like two folders with arrows pointing in different directions). The only issue that may arrive is the sizing may be off from your stock window to the manufacturer window.

You can also modify one window to what you want and use the set as default tool to make all the other windows be like that one.
