Squiggly lines in vector camera views of objects: Doors, columns...etc.
What is the best way to fix or control the extra squiggly lines that show up randomly on objects like cabinets, doors, and columns in vector camera views? It's strange, but I can sometimes click the "show door open" tool, and then close the door and the symbol lines go away. Why is that?

When you send the vector view to layout you won't (or shouldn't) have the "squiggly lines".

That's a graphics card issue from what I was told. The same thing happens here from time to time.
(Nvidea graphics cards are immune to this behavior by the way.)
I described it as looking like shards from a broken piece of china. Crackled lines on each door show up for no apparent reason.
As you pointed out it 's a non issue. When sending the strange camera view to layout, all the lines are perfectly normal.Val

I continued on and got a Serious Error ...(SEH) . So that prompted me to call SSA tech support. They had me go to preferences > uncheck "hardware edge smoothing" and that seems to have solved my issue for now. He explained that unchecking it took the process off the graphics card and onto the the chief software... That it might be an issue with graphics card (Radeon HD6770m). I had recently updated driver with a Beta version from Radeon in order to get the best resolution on my new Dell Ultra Sharp 24 monitor (which is great, by the way) . Graphic Card issues are squirrelly on this laptop that also has integrated graphics.
