Callout Text Bug
When I create a Plan and then rotate the entire Plan -90 degrees then Cross Sections Callout Text isn't displayed correctly. It all reads from the Left, regardless of the Callout Text settings in Defaults

Never mind, I changed the Callout Text Style from Custom to use Use Layer Text Style which I set to 1/4 Scale Text with "Rotate with Plan" un-checked and all is good. But shouldn't the Defaults for Callout Text over-ride the Text Style when Custom is specified?

Glenn,
If you mean do I understand that existing CAD Details and Layout Views will not be effected - Yes I do.
I also realize that everything in the model is rotated or mirrored, including the Site, every Floor, all Furniture, Fixture, Cabinet and even CAD Objects.
The only reason I do this is for purposes of changing the orientation of a model that is going to be placed on a different site and I want North to be at the top of the page. In that case, I am simply copying the Project to a new folder with a new name and a complete redo of the Layout - Plan Views Only. All Sections, Schedules, Details, etc are still good.
It takes a little bit of work to go thru the Plan and make sure that everything is properly adjusted but it's less work than starting from scratch.Joseph P. Carrick, Architect - AIA

Joe,
I was really just giving you a heads up if you used the Rotate Plan View command.
Danger! Danger!
You need to be really careful using that command because it doesn't just rotate the drawing - it rotates the "drawing board" - it's just like turning your monitor on its side.
It changes your Cartesian co-ordinate system so that zero degrees is no longer at 3 o'clock and the x and y directions will change which can be really puzzling when you try and move or resize an object.
Other things like auto elevations are all around the wrong way, etc...
It could come back to bite you in the future.
Always better to use one of the other rotate commands.
If you didn't use the Rotate Plan View command - no problems.Glenn

Glenn,
Yes, I'm aware of those anomalies. Mirror Horizontal & Vertical are reversed and as you say the x/y axis are also rotated.
IMO these are serious bugs that should be fixed by CA. But I do not know of any other tool that will allow rotation of the entire Plan.Joseph P. Carrick, Architect - AIA
