Moving roofs, I don't want Chief to Build floors/ceilings, fascias, etc.

Is there a way to turn this off when I move roofs? I'm working in plan view. Can't it do that building when I render?

Turn off auto roofs and auto framing but I always leave those on until almost finished. but anytime you move a roof plane you should re-build it.

Auto roofs and framing is already off. Just opening a roof plane specification dialog and clicking ok makes it build floors/ceilings and fascia/trim. I don't remember this in past versions.

I don't like that, send it in so they can fix it I haven't noticed it before b/c I mostly leave auto framing on all the time.

You can turn off "Auto Rebuild Walls/Floors/Ceilings" in 3d view defaults.

How does this manifest itself? Do you have a 3D window open at the same time?

Not sure what your asking but if you turn off all auto framing , it will stay where it was until you re-build again.

Sorry I responded to the wrong post. I was trying to ask the OP how this re-building manifested itself - there is nothing to see in the 2D plan - at least nothing that I see.
