Help on resizing a Symbol

I need to resize an 'oven' symbol to fit into a 600mm kitchen base unit since I can't find one narrow enough. I haven't found anything in the videos, so wonder if this can be done and how ? I need to change both the width and the depth to say 550mm. I would also like to store the resized symbol for future use. Any help would be appreciated, and sorry if Scott has done a video on it and I missed it.

Did you try opening the selecting the appliance and resizing it as needed? Or you can open the appliance symbol and change its size that way .... BUT .... that does not change the dimensions of the symbol's CAD block.

After studying this a bit more....

1. Place an existing Appliance Symbol in a Blank Plan
2. Make whatever adjustments you need
3. Use "Convert to Symbol" to create a new Appliance Symbol in your User Library

Make sure you set all the appropriate Options, etc.

That would be my approach. Do it all in a new blank plan.

Guys, that worked just fine. I didn't need to use "convert to symbol", I just did "add to library" and renamed it. It saved as a symbol and retained all the properties.
