Materials show through in render view

    Hello,
In vector view and line drawing, the wall material (shingles, siding) shows through my belly band on the side walls from a diagonal view. I make the belly band from a ployline solid. I tried to fix the problem by increasing the thickness of the belly bands, but that didn't help. I have attached a picture to explain it better. Look at the belly bands on the left side. Any suggestions?
    Thanks- Lee

Is this while viewing in layout or in plan? If it is in plan I wouldn't worry about it. I think when you send it to layout those lines won't show. If they do you can edit them out in layout, but make sure it's the last thing that you do in that view. If you make changes in the plan that has to do with that view in layout and update the view you edited lines in layout will regenerate.
What Scott said will surely work, but if you are doing a material list it may screw things up.

Thanks, making the belly bands a lot thicker finally worked. It was in the 3d vector view that I was having the problem. I usually export a 3d vector view as a picture and then import the picture into my layout for a cover page. The layout elevations looked fine. I am not doing a materials list, but I am curious, what material a polyline solid like that would be listed as? Thank you both for your help.

    Lee,

I think the Polyline Solid comes into the ML as an Exterior Trim, with the assigned material in the Description column.
It shouldn't be hard to find.
