    Draw lines on top

    Is it possible for me to draw lines on top of the objects that are already in plan. I am working on a roof plan where I have made some solid fill objects for my roof planes. Now I need to draw some additional lines for another roof plan that I want on top of the solid fill objects that I already moved to the front group. Is there a magic command to always be drawing on the top?

    Not that I know of. Very frustrating 'feature' of CA. I've run into this numerous times. Also copy and paste will sometimes leave objects behind as well.

    Mike the command you're referring to works but not in the scenario Alan describes where a solid filled object is already in the front group. If you draw on top of that solid filled object your line simply disappears behind the fill. If/when you select that line behind the fill THEN you can move it to the 'front of group'.

    Yes. Even if you move the line to the "front of group", then edit the line in any way, it looses it's Z order and disappears yet again. ;-{
