    Line Drawings????

Does anyone know if there are any hidden options within the line drawing technique to adjust the final pic? I see a few adjustments but the final picture isnt as professional as I would like it, meaning there isnt enough detail.... a lot of windows arent completely drawn (the round top windows), it doesnt draw the texture of the roof, its just plain white with no detail and misses a lot of details with siding textures as well.

On the other selections for paint and watercolor you can really change it up to customize it but with this one the choices are very limited. Any hidden line drawing dbx somewhere with additional customizations for the line drawings???

    Thanks in advance!

    Chad,

I haven't used the line drawing rendering in a few years, but when I did I got plenty of roof & siding patterning. Maybe check to see if the line weight of your material textures are effecting the image. The textures may be set so they don't display below a certain line weight, or maybe the texture is set to a color that doesn't show up in the rendering?

    Chad,

I know I have chimed in before, but export out to fotosketcher. As you change your line parameters you can observe the changes you make in the drawing by moving the "zoom window" around the sketch to see the effect. Then when you are fairly happy with it, generate the full image. It's also much quicker as it's not working with the whole 3D Model.

I think the round window issue you have may be one of Chief picking up those edge lines. I notice that a lot on round columns and other objects and would like to be able to use this for more finished presentations, but until we get more control over the lines generated I only use it for preliminary presentations.

Make sure your material includes a pattern in the material edit DBX, some roof / siding don't.
