Baseline Dimensions not complete

I used baseline dim for the overall dimensions. They do not go from wall to wall. They go to the first wall. Stop then the next line goes to the next further wall and so on. I am use to baseline dim going from wall to center of opening to wall on the first line. Then the second line would combile the openings and walls for room dimensions. The third line would combine sections of exterial walls where they have corners and then the last line would be the total overall dim.

I tried to draw dim on the baseline where it was blank or didn't connect. It does not draw from dimension line to dimension line. I looked through the videos and didn't find one that covered this. Any help is appreciated.

I use "End to End" for the overall dim if one isn't generated automatically.

check your dim defaults and settings on locate objects
