    Weird Lines

I get this from time to time. It seems to happen with doors and cabinets. I assume it's a video card issue, but I wonder who else experiences it? I have no idea when it will replicate itself; it just seems random.

I've seen that before. It goes away when you send to layout and print.

I see that all the time too. As Kevin said, it is not a problem when views are sent to LO.

I would classify it as an unnecessary annoyance. Who needs more of those?

The cabinets are Beaded Beadboard. But I've had the issue with all kinds of cabinets and doors.

I see it sometimes with my custom corbels that I made in CA and other random objects. Sometimes, if I have been working too much, I see it on my coffee cup. That is probably a separate issue?

When you see it in your custom corbels, try opening the symbol dbx and change the SMOOTHING ANGLE to anything but ZERO, I saw this behavior recently.

I get it on exterior elevations on doors and windows sometimes. I always assumed it was the fault of my non-NVIDIA graphics card. Eg, my Dell came stock with a 1-Gig ATI card that does not show render views as well as my older computers Nvidia card. Time to upgrade to a multi-gig Nvidia when I get a spare couple of bucks.

I get the same thing on some doors from time to time. I have an Nvidia card so I do it think that is it. I am getting a better 2gb one today so I will see what that does.

What are the chances of CA explaining this phenomenon?

Lol, yeah, I get it, I was just wondering. Okay, so no explanation from the higher ups.
