door schedule
I modeled shaker doors for the project I'm working on and somehow they ended up being made of concrete. How do I change this so the door schedule does not state they are concrete doors? Do I change this in plan material and what material would the passage door be made of?

When you make the Door Symbol you should assign a default material to the door. I like to copy a material and rename that material "Door". That way when you select the materials in the Door dbx you will know what item you are assigning.
If I make a door that has glass in it then I'll assign that glass panel a material named "Door Panel" so there will be a separate material for that object within the door.Joseph P. Carrick, Architect - AIA

These doors were painted white so I have concrete painted doors under plan material. Should I delete these entries under plan materials and then copy and assign them the material name "door" as stated by Joe above?
