Starting out
Anybody have any input on how to start building the model in CA? Do I start with slab or foundation, or is it just putting the walls into space?
Thanks, I'm a beginner!

start with the main floor
when fairly satisfied with it - generate the foundation and/or upper floor(s)

make sure "angle snaps is on"
if the lines are parallel in 2D they should be parallel in 3D
if not ???
you may need to post the plan

Post an image of what you are referring to as "crooked". If you hit the button in the reply text field that says "Go Advanced", you can post images.

Simple art.
Also, there is another camera type called "orthographic" which doesn't do the perspective projections. Personally, I prefer the look of the perspective views unless I am creating cross sections or elevation and those I want orthographic.Kilgore Trout
