Closing a window tries to close program.

I using Win7 x64 pro and when I open, say a camera view and then try to close that window Chief tries to close all windows and shut the program down. I have to cancel each request to Save, Don't Save or Cancel request to keep from losing my work. This seem like odd behavior to me. Is anyone else having this issue?

Are you sure you are really closing the window and not closing the program? There are two x's in the right corner. One closes the current window and the other closes the program.

That definitely sounds like a P22 error. (The Problem is about 22 inches away from the monitor).

Lol, is a P22 error the same as user error? Lol.

It used to be a P18 but with bigger monitors I keep pushing my chair back a bit.

I am quit sure I'm clicking the lower x. Both x's have the same effect. When I cancel to keep from exiting the program all open windows that are unmodified are closed. The windows that have been modified ask to save, don't save or cancel.

The image shows what Kilgore mentioned in his post above regarding which window you are closing. This might be an issue with your mouse clicking slightly away from the point where it looks like it should be pointed?

Is this something that did not happen then just start happening? Have you rebooted your computer since it started happening?

Here is where to find your mouse settings. I have never experienced the window closing problem and have never heard of it being caused by CA so I would explore your mouse settings.
