Question about uprading components for better experience with Chief

Hey guys:

I built a custom pc back in 2010. Intel core i3, 4GB DDR3, Intel integrated graphics. Last year upgraded to an SSD. So I just started with Chief Architect and have to make a model for a friend.

I'm looking into upgrading to get better rendering quality, a dedicated graphics card. My budget isn't too high, however, something better than integrated to get some jobs done. Any recommendations?
