Rotate plot plan from a designated point on house
I have a house oriented on a plot plan. Now the builder wants me to rotate the house about a corner point of the house. The plot plan/survey is an architectural block so I want to rotate it about this specific point. I have tried to use rotate about a current point. I'm not sure how to make sure it considers the specific point the current point. I think it is choosing the point I use to click the plot plan block rather than the point I just set at the corner. It is definitely not rotating about the point I want it to. Is there any way to see what is the "current point"?
I attached a picture of the problem.
Thank you for the help. As always, wish CA would do things in a way that are more intuitive to me.Catherine A. Learoyd

Catherine,
The current point is a solid color (The Move Color - set in Preferences).
Other points display as the Handle Fill Color X with the Move color around the X.
If you have several points, you can make any one of them the current point by double clicking it which will open the dbx.
Just close the dbx and the point is now the current point.
Or...the last point placed is the current point.
In Transform/Replicate, Rotate -8deg, Relative Angle.
Then Rotate/Resize/Reflect About, About Current Point.
Otherwise post the plan.Glenn

Thank you, Glen,
I changed the move color and can see that it is current point. I'm still not convinced that it rotated around that point. But, I just used the arrow keys to get the point back where I wanted it. So, I found the inevitable time-consuming work-around since my logic and CA's logic are on different planets. There was a post in 2010 saying the rotate about a point had a bug (and confirmed by CA). Not sure they have it right yet.Catherine A. Learoyd
