    what am i missing?

trying to move windows relative to the drywall INSIDE but it is taking my dimensions to the outer face of the studs. i know this is a toggle i need to change in the wall surface DBX or the dimension tabs and for whatever reason i cannot get it to work, although i have in the past.

    Please help!

    Thanks

You have to use the window DBX settings to move a window in or out within the wall.

i have these set exactly, and for whatever reason it takes it to the outer face of the siding. this plan bumps out about 2 ft. the window is in the bumpout, and the temp dimension locates the outer face of the bumpout siding.

hope that is clear, i am having some trouble posting a picture

When you click on the window to select, click on the interior side of the window.
