    Cad view from Section

Cad view from Section is producing a blank page. I used the feature yesterday on the same plan. Is there a setting I missed?

How long did you wait, sometimes it takes a few moments depending on complexity.

It works from floor plan but not from section view. It is a small one floor house.

it's supposed to. It might be a bug . I have experienced a few error messages, losing dongle recognition in the middle of work.... all shutting down the program. Unfortunately I have a dead line and cannot take the time to re-install.

I agree with William. I do it all the time. Be sure you have your cad layer turned on. Try using "fill screen" with the cad detail open too.

Thanks Tommy for pointing out the "cad layer turned on" I did an all on set section and got a cad from view. So I selected the layers I wanted but my surprise was that some items were not showing. I find out that items like foundations were on layers named foundation but with no red + on it. Is it because I created other layers for foundation E and N? then CA has its own mind,

Glad you figured it out. You have to watch the new layers you create. If you're putting 3d objects on a new layer, you'll have to turn them on in the views you're looking at.
