    So if there is no downside for placing basement framing on floor 1, but there is for 0 - what are those downsides? I would kinda like to know...

    I don't think I have ever seen CA put a basement on floor 1

    Basically, there is no correct way - use whatever method suits your style and situation

    I tried searching for many of the prior threads on this topic but no real luck

    the search engine stinks with this forum structure
    I used to be able to find "anything" now I can find "nothing"

    Johnny, of course I did a video on this subject too. as Lew said, ca does not put basements on level one, but so what, ca does a lot of things I would not do.
