Framing and Showing Framing of Soffits

I am having trouble developing techniques to frame and show framing of soffits, any ideas? I am using duel core X5.

Soffits don't have framing automatically. There are other methods you can use if you want framing, like invisible walls, change ceiling heights, ceiling planes, etc.

Sounds like a good one for the suggestion box. Of course soffits should have framing!! How else would you build them? The work-around with invisible walls etc. would be a PITA. I don't use the soffit tool much, but if I did, I'd want to specify how I wanted it framed.
