Default Foundation / Framing
I'm new to CA but learning quick.
I have a fairly simple question for something that appears to be eluding me.
I want to create a single story building which has solid concrete floors. The floor thickness (or if you like the distance from the ground outside up to bottom of an exterior door) is 150mm.
I think I am getting confused with the Subfloor - Floor & Foundation defaults. I also want to incorporate a garage which has a floor level equal to the ground level outside.
I have tried many options but currently have a building floating above the foundation & a garage door that I cannot move down to ground level.
BTW - is there a beginner section/ forum to help us newbies?
Thanks - Bob.

I think it would be easier if you could post the plan file so someone could see what you are doing with the settings. Main Floor level is 0 and work from there. Close and zip it before sending.
