Universities and Chief Architect
Does anyone know if any architectural / drafting schools are utilizing Chief or if they just continue to push AutoCad?

Chief Architect is focused in a narrow field of study, regarding CADD. An Associate of Science Degree takes in much more than home plans and light commercial buildings. This college program does use Chief for its class of Architectural. However, it provides drafters for the Petro-Chemical and manufacturing industries as well. There is no 4 year degree in Drafting. Engineers and Architects typically get basic skills and provide sketches to Drafters for production. There are Community Colleges that do have Certificate Degrees that apply to specific needs. IMO, Acad is not pushed, but rather required.

Boston Architectural College started offering Chief Architect last semester through their continuing education program. When I attended BAC 4 years ago, only AutoCad was offered.
