    Missiing lines

Can someone help me out with this? I have been round and round trying to figure it out and cannot. When I send the front view to layout the area circled in red is missing the lines for the fascia, drip, etc. It is there for all of the other elevations and even the left side. I am including the layout and chief files. Thanks.

Looking at your your files it may have something to do with the way you defined your frieze and shadow boards. If you delete them everything is fine. I'm not saying you did anything wrong, it may be one of those 'quarks' that infest CA.

    Maybe using molding polylines instead...

One note: On the foundation level uncheck 'roof over this room' in the 'room specification', 'structure' dbx. That's all I got..., I know it ain't much, but maybe it will tweak a response...

Please send this to support. They will either figure out the cause or get it into our database of issues to correct.

Thanks for sending in the report.

I looked into this briefly. If you look at the corner to the left of the garage door you will see there is no line where the molding joins. If you rebuild the roof planes in the Build Roof dialog the line comes back. I have forwarded this to the developer that works on roofs for more analysis.

Yesterday at 3pm was the last comment in the entire board? I just had to make a comment to see if it was still working - must be people are out on the 4th.

I tried this as well, but for me, it switches to another corner and will have the lines missing. Cures that corner, but removes from another one........From what I've seen, it has more to do with the 3D Molding Polylines, that are being generated (frieze, etc.). Best I remember, at least one corner of a 3D Molding Polyline has always had a line missing (in Elevations), whether automatically generated, or manually drawn in Plan View.......The only reason I mention this, is the plan is being sent to the roof developer. Maybe he works on molding polylines too? May not have anything at all to do with the 3D Molding Polylines, but wouldn't hurt to verify.

Closing and opening the plan again might solve it.

I have open and closed it multiple times with not change. I am fairly certain it is due to the moldings I did. I hope they can figure it out.
