Moving at Both Ends Again!
Come on guys. I can't be the only one this is happening to. I am working, everything is great, and BAM! Everything starts to move from both ends. Walls, lines. doors, windows, etc, etc....everything I grab moves from both ends. Is no one else experiencing this problem?

With great trepidation due to the fact that I know you are a very experienced user, but, dare I question whether you have concentric move activated?

I am an experienced user..over 10 years and I train others to use Chief. The only way I can get Chief to stop doing this, is to shut everything down and re-start my computer. And even if I had the settings wrong...which I don't...that wouldn't explain how I can be working along and then out of nowhere Chief decides to start moving everything from both ends.

I think the Concentric edit behavior activates with "C" as its hotkey by default, so if you missed doing a Control + C on your keyboard for a copy operation, it wouldn't be that hard to have unintentionally switched. Try assigning that to a different hotkey and see if that helps.
The program usually shows a little thing following your mouse around if you switch edit behaviors, which can be a handy warning indicator, unless you've turned them off in Preferences.Chief Architect Premier X5

Joey,
Do you have Behavior Indicators toggled on and if so do you get the Concentric Edit icon at the cursor when this problem happens?
As far as I know the C key only toggles Concentric mode temporarily once an object is selected - not a universal toggle for Concentric Mode.
As a matter of interest, the comma key does the same thing as does the X1 mouse button.Glenn
