sofit wrapped by crown molding.
Hi to All,
I added with the sofit tool, a simple 2" x 2" ceiling molding on the surface of the ceiling in the kitchen.
Then I added a few more in the next door room, family room, and it shows up with the plaster crown molding, which I don't want. I just wanted it as in the kitchen.
What should I do to eliminate the crown molding?
Thank you

Just delete the mini soffits you made, and make what you want out of a molding tool. Sometimes in Chief the soffit tool can act very strangely when being used in a plan with crown molding.

Here are a few basic molding tool videos - might help explain better, as well as a picture for what the ICON looks like
