It has been a honor to help - but I must say, this forum has a TON of great HIGH quality people doing exactly the same...!

In light of all that, I was just messing around some more on these wall niche's & thinking what if you wanted to make the niche in the shower with different colored tiles! So I made each layer a different color so you could really go nuts...

HEY LEW - I totally agree. I was shocked that CA never made this available, a proper one. As almost every house I have ever designed from the ground up has used at least one. I guess, its just one more thing I am sure we can all look forward to.

Thank you so much David, This has been a huge issue for me as a kitchen and bath remodeler. It would be amazing to have a niche built in to the program so that the niche would look like a niche in the plan view (construction drawings) instead of a fixed window but I will use your tool until we have that option built in. thanks a bunch!

    David,

I am having a problem resizing to a small size for a shower niche. Can't seem to get less the 18 1/2" wide and about 29" tall(I think).
Can you fix this? Usually my wall niches in a shower fit in a standard stud spacing and about 16" high.
