I thought I knew. If you asked me a year or two ago I would have thought CA was BIM. Now I know its not close. I think BIM would be a great workflow to add, but I have it on Vectorworks and have never utilized its features since the 3D is vastly more difficult than CA - and so not a lot of people bother with BIM on Vectorworks for residential design.
