Hi all!
I was wondering if anyone new how to find the catalog with the bath tub featured in the "Zan Bath" rendering from chief architect's webiste - in the gallery?

You might look in the 3D Warehouse online if it isn't in the library.

Better yet, steel it from that plan and put it in your library. Edit: Whoops .... Maybe it isn't in any of Chief's sample plans but it might be worth a look.

It looks a lot like this Kohler tub, with maybe a towel bar and the freestanding faucet added to it.

There's a company out of Santa Fe that makes nicer stuff though. Stone Forest. I have to install one of theirs on a job I'm currently doing. 3500 lbs., empty. Haven't figured out how to get it in there yet, heh, heh.

Not likely, lol! Six inches of concrete w/#4 bar 6" o.c. ea. way. Ought to be okay until I get paid but when the big one hits all bets are off!

Jillian, there is some question as to whether or not these attractively designed stand alone tubs make for a comfortable bath. Seems you might be spending a lot of time supporting your body weight from sliding. However, that being said, check out the Papillion model at the Stone Forest site. Pretty impressive.

To clarify my question.
I'm looking to put this style of tub into my Chief Architect drawings.
I usually purchase this style of freestanding tub from MTI (& they are comfortable & functional tubs) but I don't know how to reflect this style in Chief Architect.
The only similar tub is the pedestal style free standing tub which looks too traditional for what I'm trying to render.

When I choose File -> Import -> 3-D Symbol to select the sketchup file-

I get the following message:
"Unable to import .SKP file. The .SKP file format standard does not support for 64-bit applications.
You may import the .SKP file using the 32-but version of Chief Architect.
Click on the help database for more details."

Any way around this?

Also - is there a way to take accessories/furniture from a Chief Architect's gallery sample plan set & add it into your own library?

See this thread. I posted the same question very recently. What you need to do is keep two versions of Chief.

The 32 bit version will allow for sketch up imports. You can work on your current plan file with no worries about any glitches. After the import is done, close the 32 bit version and continue work in the 64 bit.
