Chief already has a materials list...... A full blown QT. That is a pay scale above Chief Architect. Jerry has some insight into the pros and cons of going this way or that. I'm just a user that wants my buttons to work. As a starting point to addressing this it should at least perform at a very basic level. It fails to do that. A materials list that incorporates every detail maybe a bridge to far (wiring, nails , silicon etc). But I can and does report a lot. The MT reports all electrical components, all fixtures and all fitting etc. Even a spare wheel for the car if we place one in the garage. Where it fails is at a very basic level. The logical reporting of the components that makeup the footings. The floor components. The wall components. The ceiling and roof. These are the very basic components that should be the core of the materials list. We should be able to build on these core elements.
