I don't know how I forgot Victoria, I knew it was named after some English Queen. You know what, that is the only excursion we cancelled. I think that was more for the kids as it turned out. We spent the day walking around Melbourne with my friend Bruce's son who just happened to be in Melbourne with his Aussie girlfriend. Melbourne was a fine city but Sydney was the cat's meow. We climbed that darn bridge to get an aerial view of the city and that was fantastic. I think Sydney is now my favorite city in the whole world.

The videos we watch are not 100% gold, but if we find a gold nugget, the time spent viewing has a value.

We can please some of the people some of the time, but we can't please all the people all of the time..... but I will keep trying.

Gordon, I am so confused. All you folks down under are some of the nicest and most humorist people I have ever met, yet now I hear about interstate/city rivalries. And while climbing that darn bridge I heard how the Kiwis and the Aussies give each other a hard time....... but of course if I said anything derogatory about a Kiwi to an Aussie or vica versa, there would be **** to pay. You guys are the best.

Of course we give each other a hard time - its the big brother little brother syndrome.
We envy Aussies size, wealth, minerals and climate - until we see the stories of bushfires and flooding and little old NZ doesnt seem so bad after all.

Haha yea the rivalries are so prevalent they made the capital roughly halfway between Melbourne and Sydney as a compromise.
