Editing is extremely fast: Group select all of the windows with a specific U value, and edit as a group.

You might have entirely different Groups for Shading coefficient, trim group, or other characteristic, but group selecting for each category makes all of this very quick.

Thanks again Bill, I thought I was changing the description but didn't realize I had to change the category, because when you select 1 window all that stuff is already there.

Here I'm group editing the four windows in the schedule. Notice that it is showing me where there are differences in the selected objects.

I've added six columns to the schedule. Please note that these columns do not automatically update as I make changes to the window, nor can they be accessed by macros. However, they are easily editable by group selection; and I can select for U value, trim group, or any other characteristic and make wholesale changes.

I've attached the plan for anyone who wants to explore this.

Bill, the folder is Empty. I think you have to close the plan first.

    Hi Perry,
You'd think I would know that by now. It should work now.

Bill, thanks for all that info. I still found it a little confusing when I multi select the windows but now I see each window is not listed separately and you change all the selected at once. Nice and thanks again.
